Work Environment Policy

Everyone Should Feel Good at Their Workplace!

This policy applies to all employees at Nobia DK and those present at Nobia DK locations.

The goal and purpose of our work environment policy is that our work environment efforts should be characterized by openness, and everyone should be treated equally and with respect. We do not accept any form of discrimination or offensive treatment in our workplace.

The work environment in our company should be a sustainable work environment, so those who work for us do not suffer from poor health or get injured due to work. Our employees thrive and can develop professionally and as individuals. The work environment efforts should permeate all decisions made and activities carried out. This means that safety and the work environment at the workplace should always come first and have the highest priority.

Applicable legislation in the work environment area is a minimum standard for our work environment efforts, and we strive to constantly improve our work environment both organizationally, socially, as well as physically and mentally.

At our workplace, this means:

  • Work environment efforts are a natural part of everything we do.
  • Work environment efforts take place in collaboration between employers, employees, and work environment- and union representatives.
  • Leaders and supervisors have/get the right knowledge, skills, resources, and authority to work for a good and safe work environment.
  • All employees receive the introduction and training they need to work safely and healthily.
  • We investigate and risk assess both our physical and mental work environment as well as our organizational and social work environment continuously and during changes, to take the necessary measures to create a safe and secure workplace.
  • All risk observations, incidents, and accidents that occur are reported and investigated so that we can act on them, learn from them to reduce risks in the future.
  • We follow up on our systematic work environment efforts annually.
  • We have a clear and visible management with respect and care for each employee.
  • We implement collective protective measures that initially suit everyone, but we also adapt requirements and conditions according to individual capabilities.
  • We continuously strive for everyone to receive competence development aimed at professional development and promote a healthy work environment.

It also means:

  • In the event of a work-related injury or illness, we actively work to ensure that the injured person can return to work as quickly as possible.
  • Everyone is responsible for their work environment by:
    • Suggesting and implementing improvements in a safe manner
    • Reducing risks
    • Reporting risks, incidents, and accidents
    • Complying with applicable rules
    • In case of uncertainty about authority, always escalate to the immediate manager
  • All leaders have a special responsibility to ensure that:
    • Decisions are made in accordance with policies and applicable legislation
    • Active and systematic improvement work is carried out within their area of responsibility
    • All employees have sufficient competences to perform their tasks safely and healthily
    • All employees, guests, and external workers are informed about our safety rules and work environment efforts
    • Applicable rules are followed
    • Rehabilitation plans are developed and implemented

We Strive to Be Better Tomorrow Than We Were Yesterday

This policy applies to all employees at Nobia DK.

We strive for sustainability in the decisions we make, both in the short and long term. Considering environmental, economic, and social sustainability aspects is a given for us.

We are proud of our certifications at both product and company levels, and we strive to create more traceability in the future.

For us, compliance with legal and other environmental requirements is fundamental.

To continue our journey towards more sustainable production, we must continuously improve our environmental performance. We do this by understanding our key environmental aspects and how we can best minimize our environmental impact over time.

Right from Me

This policy applies to all employees at Nobia DK.

We strive to always adhere to “right from me”, whether it concerns products or services. To comply with this principle, it is necessary for us to understand the requirements our customers or other stakeholders have for us.

We want to meet the customers’ requirements. Our customers can be found within the organization but also externally. Regardless, the customer is always in focus.

We always strive to meet the requirements set for us and the goals we define ourselves, in order to achieve continuous improvements.

We want to measure, evaluate, and challenge our performance by collecting relevant data. Through relevant data collection, we create a platform for continuous improvements, as there are always areas where we can improve.

“Right from me” and continuous improvements permeate our business, and these are values we talk about in our daily work. In this way, we integrate our quality policy into everyday life at all levels in Nobia DK.
